Fall comes alive with not only color but festivals, decorations, fresh crisp apples, cider, art, and music. Pumpkin patches where the child in all of us can come and find the perfect trophy to put on display. The fall flowers that the floral enthusiast will display for that last burst of color before the frost takes it all away.  Along with the cooler weather come the bright and vivid colors the trees will display for all to see. The fall season winds down its summer activities and begins to prepare for the winter season. It brings leaf peepers, vacationers, hikers, mountain bikers, and those who just want a long country drive in the fresh crisp air. Winter will soon follow and the anticipation of our winter & snow enthusiasts will soon be a reality, everyone is eager to get in the last remaining beautiful days with their loved ones. Winter is best for the ones who love the thrill of shooting down the mountain side cutting into the fresh powder and zooming back to the top for another run. Cross country skiing snowmobiling and sledding are a few other favorites but by far Berkshire County is the best place to mingle, dicker on that heirloom find, dine in some truly unique restaurants, relax, and just have fun.
